Pride sports are holding a FREE basketball taster session for trans guys in Manchester on the 6th of June.
At this session, we’ll be introducing the sport of basketball to people who identify on the trans-masculine spectrum. The taster will be a good opportunity to try a new sport with no pressure. Skills optional! The session will be suitable for guys with no prior experience as well old pros. Why not come along and give it a try? The session is free. Just register here and come along on the night!

FREE Dance Workshops for young LGBT people - MOVE: Challenging Gender Roles Through Dance
genderedintelligence:
Have you ever fancied trying Urban Dance, Latin or Tango? Do you want to get fit in a trans-positive environment?
MOVE with Gendered Intelligence is a project to create opportunities for young Trans, queer, LGB and questioning people to get involved in dance in a safe non-judgemental environment.

Each workshop will focus on a different dance style. Come to as many or few sessions as you like! We want to challenge gender norms through dance. The sessions are open to those aged 14-25 and identify themselves as trans, queer or LGBQ (or both!). Those that attend will be invited to take part in a performance at World Pride Day and the Trans Community Conference 2012.
When:
Latin Dance - Thursday 28th June 6-9pm
Street Dance - Saturday 30th June 2-5pm
Queer Tango - Wednesday 4th July 6-9pm
Where
Central School of Speech and Drama, London
