Since February 2011 MORF have been redistributing free binders to trans guys all over the UK and around the world who need them. The free scheme (all you pay is the postage) has so far redistributed over 60 binders and we want to continue giving out as many as possible.

There are lots of ways to help keep the scheme going. You can:

- Donate any unused binders that you may have. (Info on how to donate here.)

- Ask your friends if they have any binders they can donate.

- Donate envelopes/parcel-paper/sellotape to help with postage & packaging.

- Tell your friends about the scheme, so that they can donate to/receive from the scheme.

See http://morf.org.uk/binder.html & watch the video for more information.

Marlin Swimming Group for Trans People - Manchester
Marlin is Manchester’s trans swimming group. It is open to all trans people (all regular meets are trans only). It is FREE due to funding from Manchester Pride and Inner Enigma.

We have exclusive use of the pool during this time. Changing facilities are individual cubicles around the side of the pool. You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, as long as it’s safe to wear for swimming. So, for example, it’s fine to wear a t-shirt - as long as it’s not too loose. Oh, and as long as it’s not a dark colour that’s going to run and dye the water! The staff in attendance have been specially trained also, so no need to worry about that either.

We meet at Levenshulme swimming pool, 7:30-9 on the second Tuesday of every month, and usually go for an informal social afterwards. Our next meeting is on the 9th October. You can get to Levenshulme easily from Manchester or Stockport by bus or train.

We usually meet outside the steps to the building before we go in, although if you show up a little late just ask the staff for Marlin and they’ll point you in the right direction.

Any questions? Email us at swim@marlin.org.uk
