Trans History for LGBT History Month - Kylar Broadus

Kylar Broadus is the founder of the Trans People Of Color Coalition (TPOCC), which is the only national civil rights organization dedicated to the needs of trans people of colour in the USA. He is also a practising lawyer, and law professor at Lincoln University of Missouri.
Kylar made history by becoming the first openly transgender person ever to testify before the US Senate. The Senate heard Kylar’s experiences of employment discrimination as a trans man, before passing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).
